Supported in development through Screen NSW and Screen Australia, Brilliant Monkey is set to be the debut feature film from award-winning AFTRS directing graduate Warwick Young (Stuffed, Refuge). A road-trip comedy based on the successful stage play of the same name that was co-developed and performed by Alan Dukes and Warwick Young across two sold out seasons, Brilliant Monkey tackles themes of family and forgiveness, showing that no matter how hard we try to break free, the indelible bonds of family always prevail!

Continuing on from their collaboration across on the successful survival thriller Outback (Madman/Lionsgate) Brien Kelly & Mike Green have teamed up once more for this genre bending horror that will make you question what’s real in this world. We Come From the Dark was a semi-finalist in the 2022 Page International Screenwriting Awards, the 2022 Austin Film Festival Screenplay competition and the 2023 ScreenCraft Horror Competition and is a film that promises to keep audiences guessing.

Infused with the pragmatic gallows humour that has defined her life living with cystic fibrosis, Rejecting Elle looks at the choices faced by those in the chronic illness community and what would have happened if one day, Lauren had just said “enough!” Supported in development by Screen Australia.
